Happenlance is a game similar to Getting Over It, although it is easier and has more depth. To begin with, the gameplay is quite good. You can spin your lance, but not as near to you as Goi can, which I think is a positive. You can launch yourself higher if you have a good leverage, so the physics are really excellent. If you have speed, you can bounce on your lance, and if you obtain a lot of horizontal momentum, it will translate into vertical momentum when launching yourself, so the physics are pretty good.

Levels are used in Happenlance, and checkpoints are used to store your progress. If you exit a level, you will be restarted at the checkpoint rather than where you left off. Some levels consist of several obstacles with checkpoints in between, while others have a foddian theme in which you must restart from the bottom if you fall.

Anyway, it is a solid game, base game was around 6 hour, it has a new game + which give you a bigger lance.

Pros:
Fun mechanics
Good levels
Co-op is hilarious

Cons:
Not for everyone

Score – 7/10
