Dragon Quest III in HD-2D confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC

Dragon Quest III in HD-2D, the temporarily titled HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation developed by AMATA K.K. announced in 2021, will be available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, a newly posted teaser video by Square Enix reveals.

While the video itself does not mention Dragon Quest III by name, it displays the “Mark of Erdrick” that appears in Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line, and Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation, followed by the text, “The legacy begins.” (The Japanese version of the teaser contains the alternative English text, “The quest begins.”) The Dragon Quest and HD-2D logos are shown above the Mark of Erdrick, and the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, Steam, and Windows logos below.
