Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Shattering Spectreglass – Spotlight
2K and Gearbox have announced that the fourth piece of downloadable content for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, titled Shattering Spectreglass, is now available. The Blightcaller is a new playable character class that can conjure up Plaguestorms and wield the stench and horror of the swamps. Blightcallers excel at inflicting elemental damage, especially Poison damage, and their Class Feat, Whisper of Rot, grants them bonuses to this damage whenever they apply a Status Effect.
Since the Blightcaller is now a playable class in its own right, it can be incorporated into a character’s existing multiclass build if so desired, or a new character can be created with the Blightcaller as the starting class before switching to another. Find out everything you ever wanted to know about the Blightcaller right here!
The update adds a few new options for character creation, one of the more sinister ones being a new evil voice. The voice, dubbed “The Grim,” is said to be full of “delightful doom and gloom,” which will make for some humorous exchanges between the various characters.
In addition to the new voice option, four new backstories are available to choose from when creating a new Fatemaker: Nerfed by the Bunkermaster, Clownblood, Apprentice Barnacle Scraper, and Street Urchin Success Story.
The fourth Mirror of Mystery, Vesper’s memories of Redmourne the Trivern can now be viewed through the lens of Shattering Spectreglass. This powerful creature has the ability to sprout additional heads, and it maintains itself by sucking the life force from terrified humans. The only way to truly free Vesper from her past is to destroy this avian monster once and for all.
Like the other Mirrors of Mystery, Shattering Spectreglass allows you to challenge a more difficult dungeon and gather more powerful items to aid in the main story’s conclusion.
Outside of Brighthoof in the Overworld, at the Dreamveil Overlook, is where you’ll find Vesper and her Mirrors of Mystery. Eliminating Redmourne from orbit is easier said than done. You could be slashed by his tail, claws, and wings, or blasted with different kinds of elemental breath even if you avoid getting chomped by his multiple mouths, including a toothy maw on his chest that is perpetually twisted into a tortured grimace. While you may only see one of Redmourne’s many possible heads in his initial appearance, rest assured that more will materialise in later incarnations to roast, zap, and otherwise obliterate you.
