Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II launches October 28

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will launch on October 28, 2022, publisher Activision and developer Infinity Ward announced. Platforms were not announced.

A new trailer reveals “one of the biggest-in-sheer-size entertainment advertisements of all time.” Over the course of 24 hours, a team maneuvered a cargo ship containing a 90,000 square foot Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II wrap displaying operator Simon “Ghost” Riley. Once it docked, a giant puzzle was revealed, as the port contained another image that aligned with the cargo ship’s wrap. Drone footage captured the ship’s movement, while also revealing a first look at the game’s squad, “Task Force 141.”
